i have a Blau Sydney with 10-disc changer . . the Sydney has a vario-color illumination scheme which allows you to change the color of the buttons and display from factory green to shades of orange, yellow, and red). Matches the stock look very well, but of course the faceplate remains black. Back to the topic though, I have had no complaints with the Sydney . . in fact, it images a lot better than anything I've ever owned before (which is an XPlod and Pioneer), and it is very good at vibrantly reproducing a broad spectrum of frequencies without distorting at high power levels. I am most amazed at the quality of the mid- and high- frequency output through the 6x9s I have installed in the back. Though Crutchfield's s/n ratio pegs the Blaupunkt mid-line in-dash CD players as average, I think those s/n numbers are untested by Crutchfield and based purely on what Blau has supplied. In other words, they may not compare accurately with those numbers supplied by other manufacturers', so pay little attention to them when considering a CD player's quality. I, for one, have no complaints whatsoever about the quality of Blaupunkt's CD player (whether that be the in-dash unit or that of the changer), and I suspect that you will be pleased as well. Best of luck!
