I can't find any pictures of what the motor mounts should look like for this 1998 Mercury Mystique. The Haynes
manual and the one link I could find here in the search DO NOT SHOW the same mounts! My one question is the motor mount on the passenger side. Right next to the timimg belt there is this metal loop that rest on a nub. The books show nothing like this. They show a black metal bar that goes from one end of the motor to the other. Well this bar is not on this car and there is only a silver loop resting over a nub. What I can't figure out is why there is this black ring with holes or dents all around it 1 inch above in the nub? And what does it do right there?
