There is enough room to get your hand up through the little square maintenance doors on each side of the panel to change the bulbs. The bulbs just pull out with about a 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Take a peak with a flashlight to see where everything is and then just reach in and give it a twist/pull, nothing to it. (I've done it in a walmart parking lot wearing a suit.
