Regarding suspension for the Tantrum pics: Neil - dropped, but not sure what 95MID - H&Rs & stock struts? me - GCs + Konis riding high (just had them installed in that pic)
I would highly recommend picking up a torque wrench from your local auto or hardware store. One of the best investments I ever made - I rotate my own tires and peace of mind knowing they are torqued correctly anytime I take a wheel off.

I will not comment on the being strong for your size part, but you should be perfectly fine hand tightening them.

Good eye - IIRC, Neil was running 205-45-17s - which he didn't like. 95MID and I is/were running 215-45-17.

Give'em a proper cleaning before you put them on. I use a good polish, followed by a good wax. That'll keep the dust off'em and make cleaning easier.
wait you can wax your wheels?
Brake dust is a [censored] on those two front wheels...

Treat your wheels like you treat your paint. Would you spray Hot Wheels or some other acidic BS on your paint? Wash them with the same stuff you wash your car with. Wax them. Keep them clean (wipe them down once a week) - that's the key.

sheeshhh, once a week....hah....how about once a day. that's what it takes to look pretty in my white "shoes" everyday. i ran out of wheel cleaner last week though and tried using regular car wash and it does not cut it on mine. i need wheel cleaner desperately. i'm planning on doing my traditional 2 hour car wash tomorrow, *squeal with joy*.....

why would you used wheel cleaner, to me thats just puttin money out the window. What me and my brother do is get, soak the wheels with water, then get one of those huge sponges that you get from the car wash section and hand clean them. If you want to use a brush you could use one too. Then rinse off the wheels and inspect them for dirty spots. This leaves the wheels cleaner than any wheel cleaner in the market. We got tired of buyin wheel cleaner that didnt get all of the brake dust out.
NEED AN SVT REAR BUMPER!!! pm me

Well according to my factory service manual, and my Haynes manual and I think even my chiltons list 94ft/lbs as spec. Of course all three could be wrong but I'm doubting that. Thanks for the heads up though?...

what kind of wheel cleaner did you use and what kind of rims do you have? that can make all the difference. i used stuff that is supposed to be sprayed on a dry wheel and rinsed off *no scrub*. yeah right. i use it with water and my little scrub brush to get the nooks and crannys and inside of the rim, then i rinse it down, and it's oh so pretty. i have tried regular car wash soap several times before and it makes it a little cleaner but there are plenty of dirty spots left.
