The Mazda 6 "share" many components with the Mondeo. Floor pan, suspension geometry, engine and many electronics are the same. Mazda is Ford's North American "car" product line where as "Ford" is the Truck brand - in practice any way.

If you want the euro Mondeo, just by the Mazda 6 - same thing - different skin.
