I payed about 25 dollars for mine. It was the biggest piece of crap to deal with. It took me about a week to get the f**cker out. The car was undriveable for an entire week. The plastic eventually broke off, then the insides came out, then i drilled and put in screws, then the screws broke off, then the thing eventually ended up being too deep inside. I turned on the car and it wouldnt move if i put it in drive or reverse. One day I got pissed off and forced it when stepping on the gas and heard a loud bang noise. I looked at the sensor and it was sticking out a bit. I bet it was in the way of something and it forced itself out a bit. So then I finally got it out about 3 hours after that incident, and I only got it out by breaking it apart from the inside and pulling out all the wiring and the magnets from inside first. This was about two (i think) months ago, and my dad's finger nail is coming off NOW, since when he tried taking the sensor out he banged his finger up real bad on the wheel. It was his first try at it when he busted it up, and he hasnt touched my car since. I am pretty sure that my dillemma with it was worst-case scenario.

Moral of the story: When taking the tss out, turn as you pull and never force.
