I don't mean to jump in here, but I have been waiting for my brullen y pipe for quite a bit now so I would not consider it a fast and simple process. I would say it is a long and frustrating process. But hopefully, it will be worth it if I ever get it. Kind of like my dtec heatshield.....

Please don't confuse ME with Burllen or Performance Fords. I was saying MY personal Business, RamMotorsports. I was only the person got the Y-pipe Group Buy together. I recieved no money or anything. Its all been going through Brullen. I was saying all people who do business with Me personally have had a simply and fast process, and I would never conduct business the way those others shops had. Thanks

OH and here is a pic of that Y-pipe. The other one just doesn't wanna link correctly:

Ok, I stand corrected its not like the factory or MSDS Y-pipes...but this is also a "off-road pipe" pictured (where is the O2 sensor mount?)am I correct?, Yes it should flow better but pretty much any off-road pipe will out flow a y-pipe cat combination. Some of us need to keep our cats do to state laws and it is not worth the trouble to have to swap them out every two years before emissions tests. My point was with cat not off-road cat free exhaust. The Y-pipe looks like the Yo-dude Cougar Y-pipe? What I don't understand about these company's is once you have a design why not perfect it...bend the pipes up and weld them together at the collector, and flanges. Why piece together 9-10 pieces of pipe to get the shape It can be done without all the pieces...a good exhaust shop can bend a 8' piece of pipe into a pretzel if you ask him to. This is a small and very simple design and should not be a problem to do. Remove all the unnecessary welds and make it all mandrel bent S/S and you may have something more worth the price

As for the Bosal exhaust what proof do you have that it is an inferior product compared to the rest other than this guy said so Please tell me why the others are so much better and how they could possibly flow better. The only cat back system that would flow any better would be straight pipes and that would sound like a garbage truck! Like I said before they are all basically the same...2.5" mandrel bent pipes, straight through performance resonator to a y-pipe and then to two performance mufflers with 3-4" tips. How can anything other then the sound and appearance really be any different? I would expect all the "B" systems to be pretty much identical in performance and flow. Have you ever physically looked at a Bosal exhaust system...it appears not...maybe you just don't like them because BAT sells them? I didn't get mine from BAT so I have not delt with them. The picture alone looks better than anything out there that i have seen and in person when you hold the pieces in your hand you'll see that the product is pretty much flawless no matter how you cut it and pure eye candy for the underside of the car. No ugly welds, no black paint that will come off in time...you can't argue that. If you don't like the tips then go to the Bosal web site and order new tips...they have a bunch to pick from If you don't like the souund then that is a personal prefference and no reason do bash the product. Like I said mine has been on my car for about a month now and everyone so far thinks it sounds awesome

Don't be mad at me I love my Redline Hood kit you provided the GB for

Just to add fuel to the fire in respect to B exhausts. Borla nets more mid range gains than the other B's. Bassani and Brullen net more upper end gains then Borla.

Brullen does not come with a center resonator and the Bosal pictured does. So... There are differences....

I don't think the resonator on the Bosal restricts the flow that much if any...you can look straight through it. Looks kind of like a glass pack to me. The rear two mufflers are between the size of a 1-3 liter soda container at the most. Haven't took the end off yet to see inside if they are straight through or not. The system has a little rasp when you first start it up but once the resonator warms up it is gone and sounds very nice. When I am done my mods I plan to get my car dynoed and will post the results. But still have a few to do before that. It will be the basic common mods so the only difference between mine and the majority of the modded SVT's will more then likely be the Bosal exhuast...so we shall see

This is all good stuff

Thanks,
Scott

Man I'm not mad at anyone at all, but I'm just saying what I've seen personally and what the Profesionals have said. As for the welds, that is necessary for the correct angles on the pipes and no that can't be mandrel bent correctly. The Brullen Y is SS and Mandrel and painted black . What the hell do you need a chromed out exhaust for? Its under your car you never see it. But to each his own lol. Guys I have no crap with anyone. If I could offer all brands of exhaust then I would in a heart beat . Lets let the thread die and lets all be cool
