You will not need valve stem seals. The Felpro gasket set will have everything you need. When cleaning the gasket surface be careful not to scratch the soft aluminum. A green scotchbrite pad, a roll or the blue through away hand towels from the automotive department, and a gallon of mineral spirits from Wal-Mart would be perfect for cleaning the gasket mating surface. Be careful to keep things clean and don't drop anything into the valve compartment.




My brain thinks like a computer so I need to know what
FelPro Kit do I need. I see 19 FelPro parts listed for a
1998 MERCURY MYSTIQUE GS L4-2.0L. None of
them says just "Gasket Set". I'm sorry for being this
way I can't help it. Thank you so much for help thus far!
