You could put a larger pipe on your exhaust. The thing is just finding where to put it. If the main thing you are looking for is sound and want a cheap fix.. you could cut out the resonator and replace it with a straight pipe. Which should cost no more than $50. I've done some research on that very thing today, and from what I can tell, the sound is good once the engine is warm and you can't really tell an hp difference, atleast not by the SOTP.

If you have a Non-svt, You could have a pipe fabricated to lead from the back of the Cat, bent exactly like the stock pipe except no resonator or muffler. I don't know if you would be able to tell any difference in performance, but I'm sure it would sound more free. As for something to think about, you have backpressure in your 'tuned' stock exhaust system, if you open that up more freely, you might feel less power in that gruntier low rpms region.

I don't live up in MD, but down here in VA, you could have some one fabricate something for you. You may need to shop around, but most local shops I know could do it for you if you asked them.
