Segway These things are sweet! I dont know how you stay balanced on the thing.

The Segway has gyroscopes in it which it uses to self-balance. Lean forward and you move forward, lean back... you get the idea. Supposedly you can't fall over on one since the unit continuously adjusts for balance. Personally, I think they're overhyped toys right now, until someone finds a practical use for them.

I thought the mail carrier idea was pretty good. For a lot of the walking routes it would be perfect.

In downtown Atlanta, all of the city workers have them. Its kinda neat to see them cruising around downtown.
