I read it. Heck, if ya read my first post in here, I said the same thing in my second line.

And if you do some research, you will see that cmd32.exe is not a valid Windows system file. cmd.exe is a system file, but cmd32.exe is a virus file. and that is all it is.

cmd32.exe is not a Windows XP Pro file. It may have been in earlier versions of NT.

I performed the registry fix as Symantec recommended, it removed the problem.

Yep I know that and I never said it was! But the files that are affected by cmd32.exe are windows files. I was just trying to help someone out of a jam, not get into a pissing match! Don't get your undies in a bunch!

yea xp was built on top of w2k so theres some files that are still in xp that are useless.
