Oh, I have the car as well. I just can't race (or leave PA for any other reason) at my regular tracks. I've gotta go find a good event to run at the Grove, when I have spare time. New civil hearing, where she asks for temporary support, is in 2 weeks. After that, and if the criminal stuff is no longer a concern, I'll know what sort of shape I'm in after all this. At this point, I think things are going to start looking up for me. Each day has been better than the last for almost a whole week now. That's a top notch streak for how well I've been going.

He's looking for bracket racing. I was at the NOPI event 2 weekends ago and I didn't know they were bracket racing on Sunday till it was too late.  Originally posted by mycainsbroken:

Now there's a person who knows what I want. I think I'll wait until their points season is over, then go out for a day some time.
Hey, THIS event, on September 27 or 28 looks cool. Teams of four running round robin, then the two teams with the most wins go head-to-head, with a runoff of the fastest from each team in the event of a tie.
Anyone interested in that? Looks like a fun format, and you are guaranteed a handful of bracket runs, even if you keep losing, instead of win or go home. Get a couple of guys on a hot streak and you could take home $250 and/or a trpohy.
And, it's also a good way to show off the Contours to the Import crowd. Think any of them have seen four modded ones at the same time?
But, I'm so freaking busy that I'm not gonna try to organize people. Count me in if there is interest - either way I'll just go up for a solo bracket anyway. I enjoy beating Imports more, for some reason.

This 4 team thing sounds interesting. Only problem is that I'm not available on Saturday, just Sunday.
So if we can do it only on Sunday, I'm in. I just need to work on my R/T's.

I sent an e-mail to them to see if we can enter. The rules say 4 cylinder FWD domestics so I want to make sure we can enter. Here's my e-mail:

I just have a couple of questions I hope you can help me out with:
I belong to a Ford Contour Enthusiest Group and wanted to know if 6 cylinder FWD Ford Contours are allowed in the 4 team event. The Domestic rule was a little vague so I want to make sure.
And with this 4 team event, do we have to race Saturday and Sunday, or is it jsut a one day event. I'm trying to get a few Contour/Mercury Mystic guys intersted in this and we would be attending the Maple Grove, PA event.

Wow, 3 SVT's so far. I hope it's on Sunday. This would be cool to do. And we can bracket race the same day as well, according to the website.
