Always had the Alpine head unit, but now I've got Memphis speakers all around and a Memphis box with 2 10s, plus an amp. I'm so happy now.

Oooh, where'd you get those John? The Memphis speakers I had in the 95 seemed pretty good for the money.

Sup Bill. Good to hear from ya man. We've all gotta hook up again. Seems like forever since we've done a VA thing. Anyway, I got the setup from a dealer called MAS in Woodbridge. The guy is the only person in the area that sells them as far as I know. The store owner's name is Matt. He's cool. I can get you the info if you want to contact him. The store hass set up and everything, you can hear the systems just like at Best Buy or Circuit City.
And you're right. Memphis is a super buy. I compared the sets that I have to some Boston's and MB Quart and they are on par as far as clarity. Not to mention the amp and box I have is only pushing 300 watts and it kicks! We'll hook up and I'll let cha hear it.

That's hilarious! I bought my first audio equipment from MAS over 5 years ago!! Single asian guy running the store still?? He was a great guy to deal with, let me bring the boxes out to my car to test them out.
Just for reference on Memphis, there is a shop in Frederick, MD that sells Memphis stuff too...

That's probably the place. By Rt 1 and Opitz near the Lincoln/Mercury dealer? Yeah, I'd like to hear how yours sounds, though I don't think I'll be getting any subs.

Yeah Bill, that's the place. I'll definitely let ya hear how they sound. Awesome highs, and mids on em'. I hear ya on the subs, the only reason I got them is because he was trying to promote the brand and basically threw them in with my package. So, I've got BASS!
