Hey, I just finished bypassing the factory amp, and since i didnt hook up my amplifier in the trunk i decided to run the speakers off of the head unit. Now after bypassing the factory amp my volume level dropped significantly. So my question is, what volume level do u usually listen at. While i had the factory amp i listened at around 14-17 which was pretty loud, now i must set the volume at 40 for it to be loud.....Did i screw up somewhere?

Any input would be aprriciated...

Matt

Not the same set up, but I listen normally at 20, 30 is attention getting and 40 to 55 is damaging to the inner ear. I have a CD40 driving a NAK PA504.

Hope this helps,

Mark
