Lingenfelter does both Corvettes and VIpers, but he's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy more famouse for the vettes.

We have Hennessey for Dodge, and Ligenfelter For Chevy!

EDIT - Oops, I forgot Saleen works with ford, yet they have nothing like a Hennessey Viper TT 800... or the corvette ford sucks in this league!

I wouldn't trust anything Hennessy sells. A while back a Hennesy Viper not unlike this one got creamed at the track by some modded Supra TT. It should have won easily (on paper). So this (much like the whole 99 Cobra incident) sparked some interest with car mags. They got a hold of a hennesy viper and found that all the performance specs were bogus. A bunch of Hennessy owners sued. It was a big controversy.

John Lingenfelter is in seriously bad shape. Had a drag racing accident last fall, spinal injury, cardiac arrest in surgery, and I think his current state is semicomatose.
Roush was in a plane crash but survived serious injuries and has recovered.

I'd still take the viper (my dream car) though it does have an auto tranny.

I heard about Roush's story. I knew Lingenfelter was in lousy condition, but I don't think he's dead...yet.
