Actually I used this blackout tape for the little chrome strip and its held up great over the past 2 years. The area around the licence plate isn't painted, its just a nice smooth grayish plastic, alot nice and upscale lookin' than the one on our cars from the factory, IMO  My windows are tinted, but I went with 50%, seeing that its illegal here in Michigan I didn't want any problems! Finally the emblem doesn't look like it comes out easily, but I've seen a couple Mystiques with them missing, so I'm going to see what my buddy at the body shop can do for me over the winter.
