I would still think about swapping out those wires and plugs regardless....Oh, and an EGR, PVC IAC cleaning may not hurt either. PM me if you need some more assistance. Good luck!!

right. It can't hurt. Besides, the golden rule of troubleshooting is to go for the simplest thing first. Plugs and wires are alot simpler than the transmission.

But, when I was in school there was an older guy who has been an airplane mechanic for over 50 years and was a retired instructor at the school I went to, said, also, when troubleshooting be sure to check the thing with the most moving parts.
