This is the worst thing you can do to you A/C and I imagine this is the reason why so many people have trouble with the A/C's. Just turn the HVAC to Vent or Floor when you don't want it on so it can cycle the remaining cold air through the vents and prevent it from freezing up.
no, i know better than that from my accord. i always put it on vent b/c the air coming out is still cold and it's less engine work IMO
