I had an ASP UDP on for a little over 3 years, but swapped it out for a DMD. I noticed the loss of power going to the DMD. It was worth it, though, because the harshness of the vibrations at higher RPM was driving me nuts. Now it is sooooo smoooooth.

exactly my experience.
I went from the SHO Shop UDP to the DMD. Unbelievable difference in the high RPM's. Did notice a loss in the low end.

Had to chime in - I would never go back to the high rpm harshness EVER again....it was just too much.

Just wondering, do the UD P/S and A/C pullies make it any harder to steer and the AC not as cool?

Kinda late but can't you use the DMD Crank and P/S A/C UDP's for a smooth yet getting some power from the UDP?

Thanks

i was looking at the ASP crank pulley also, so with it you will be without the balancer.
