Just thought I would post some pictures of the Wilwood brake upgrade I did this past weekend. Overall everything went really smooth and I had no problems. I would like to thank Chris from CTA Motorsports (http://www.ctamotorsports.com/) for getting me the Wilwood set-up and stainless lines at a good price and quickly. I was also very happy with the rotors from Summitt.
This is what I started with (you've seen this before)

I got everything stripped off and added new longer wheel studs. I would not attempt this without the longer studs. Once the wheel spacers are installed there is no thread left to put the wheel on with the stock studs. I used Autozone part number 97030 (pick-a-nut brand I think) for the new studs. This required a little work on the knurled part to make them work, but otherwise they went in good. You also better have a air gun to put the new studs in with.

Here comes the new equipment. Looks good. The rotors from Summitt came with the coating at no extra charge.

Looks nice with the Wilwood logo peaking out from behind the wheel. Wheel spacers were 1/4" from Pepboys. New studs gave me a decent amount of thread for the lugs.

I also added new cross-drilled rotors and stainless lines to the rear to complete the set-up.
If anyone is interested in the origional front calipers and brackets let me know. They are the early 98 style with the larger brake pad and they are in fair condition. I will probably list them on ebay in the next couple weeks.
Thanks,
Marty
