I'm sure you don't need anyone telling you that these two vehicles offer extremely different driving experiences. I may be guessing here, but I would have to think that you purchased the SVT after becoming aware of it's virtues as a taut, responsive, European-influenced (if not downright European, although built in the US), MANUAL-TRANSMISSIONED performance sedan; an alternative to BMW 3-series, Audi A4, etc. at a bargain price. Maybe it's just me, but I always wonder about what motivates a person when moving between such extremely different vehicle types. In my mind, a "sports sedan" guy doesn't easily morph into a "SUV" guy.
I don't mean to come across as harsh or judgemental, but maybe you really weren't a "sports sedan" guy to begin with.
Private selling price for your car might be in the $12-$13K area (I'm really just guessing), with trade-in value considerably less.
