The temperature sender may be going bad or there is a bad connection to it. (Not sure where this is on the Zetec.) In terms of the front wheels peeling out, you could have low tire pressure, or maybe a sticking brake on one of the other wheels. I suppose a diff problem is also possible, but maybe you just have a ton more torque than your used to
The power steering sensor is probably a dealer only item as you mentioned.
