Actually, the amp you have is an early 90's vintage power plate amp. Pretty nice amp, especially for $100.00. My second favorite amp that I have ever owned was an a/d/s/ PH15. It was a 6 channel 50 watt per channel amp. I wouldn't exactly say that they under rate their amps, it's more of a situation of other companies over rate their amps. If you actually test the output of your amp, it will be right around 25-30 watts based on my experience with a/d/s/ amps. My PH15 was rated at 48-57 watts depending on the channel. The high end companies (PG, RF, PPI, SS) tend to rate their amps very realistically at 12V, not at 14.4 which can happen but is rare.
Again, I'm very impressed with your choices of components. Although, I think the Nak deck mentioned previously would be over kill compared to the rest of your components. If you were using dynaudio/focal/Eton components, mcintosh amps, and Lambda Acoustics subs. The Nak CD70 (i think that is the model number) would be the better choice for you. but with your components get the CD35 or 45Z.
keep us posted on your progress.
