I do have a brand new 2.2 with a .490 lift cam and 280 duration. should be good for 125 hp once i port the heads. Cam 98.00, porting free with lots of work. Last time I saw it run was 14.6 in the quarter. He kept it for 2 more years, but I never heard if he improved his times. Now he autocrosses, with a Neon ACR.

dnewma04 Moderator D Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 8,142	The GLHS (the last version of the turbo 174 hp) could run the 1/4 in under 14 seconds. those were impressive little cars. i'd like one just to play around with. :-) i figure with 125-130 hp, and a 5 speed i should be able to pretty well in the quarter mile. maybe 16 seconds? i don't know though, i'd have to do a little research.
