You clearly have a comprehension problem. If you believe installing a MAF adaptor and a universal filter is fabrication you must really have problems changing your oil.

I didn't state fabrication as the only reason as to why he might buy that intake only that it is one of the reasons (I'm afraid you completely contradict yourself, you have the poor comprehension). Perhaps he even just likes the way it looks, maybe you don't understand that but you don't have to because he bought it. The bottom line is clearly that you have no right to tell anyone they made the wrong choice if they are happy with what they have done (can you refute that without simply stating your own opinion?....no, point made). Don't even bother insulting my intellect. Yes after four years of University, serveral rebuilds of my VW GTI engine and still I can't my change oil, what point does that make??

actually you don't seem to understand the point....all he is trying to say is that the k&n fipk kit is NOT the best set up for our cars....have you even seen the picture of this fipk??????

first of all the filter that comes with it is puny....second the heat shield is tiny, and barely blocks anything, especially in the spots that need it the most...third the thing that replaces the accordian tube, looks to be even more restrictive than stock, and it also seems that the maf adapter might also be too small as well...

now while the guy that bought this certainly has every right to spend(or waste in this case)his money however he chooses...he doesn't need to come on here and try and tell everyone that it is a great setup for our cars, when it appears that it is not...he got all defensive last time he posted about it,and everyone told him he wasted his money...we are just trying to point out that there are better and cheaper intakes, and that this one is NOT the best set up for our cars...
