The condensor and accumulator really aren't too hard to remove (guessing replace wouldn't be too hard either). I'll sell my condensor and accumulator for real cheap if you want to try them. They have 85k miles on them and have been sitting outside for a few months now (with line openings taped). They were OK when they were in my car, but unless you're doing the labor, they probably wouldn't be good for you (unless you want to risk the chance of paying for labor and new parts again in the future). As long as you get the Ford a/c line removal tool, pressure gauge, and other normal tools, and maybe a helping hand, you should be able to do it along with the help of a Haynes manual or something.
