You have to use aftermarket suspension to make it work. When I bought new wheels for my SVT I thought I could just put the SVT ones on my stock 96 - didn't work. But others who have put aftermarket suspension have not had the same problems...
that's just what I've observed - I havn't tested it but I will be adding a suspension kit to my 96 in about 2 months - no point it letting good tires and wheels just sit in my backyard.
