Finally, someone else who realized that you could buy the same or better quality by avoiding brand name car audio equipment. :-)
I am also from the detroit area. I was using a 12" Shiva in my contour but took it out temporarily and put the 2 10W6s back in. The Shiva is very similar to the 12" DVC that parts express sells. I don't ever plan on buying a brand name car audio speaker again.
