hey grymes, on a side note, what is the name of the modeling clay and foam that you use in industrial design to fabricate an object that can be painted? thanks

For the ammount of money a lot of people are paying for these lights, they might as well make the housings a part of the fenders instead of separate pieces.
I think, I tinker, I play around, I build.

Could be that I didn't know the full explanation. I was just saying that you gotta do some work and I said it in a jokingly way. Sorry for hurtin' your feelings.

I think you'd be surprised how much the junkyard will charge you for a set of headlight assemblies.
They'll charge at least $75 apiece if they're all yellowed, and $100-125 is what you'll pay for one in decent shape.
That price, plus $100 in fiberglass work, and you're talking about $500 for your project.
My question is, if the headlights are flush with the body, and you add a fiberglass cover to them, won't that create a "bulge" in the smooth body lines?

Well I have'nt looked into the boneyard parts yet ,but thanks for the heads up. second,we talked about molding the stock light with the projectors recessed,so it'll keep the stock lines, hopefully. any thoughts on the amber blinker?

A guy in Ohio did this to his CSVT, but I can't remember his name, try the "search" feature and I'm sure you'll be able to see it and get ahold of him
