Hopefully most people on here because they truly enjoy and want to preserve what ford has given up on. While it's true that you can only do so much to the car has far as mods go it's the fact that most people really don't care about contours and 10-15-20 years from know who knows we may just be one of those people whos say "man i wish i had that car again".
I went to car show last year and i saw so many cars that aren't around anymore some ugly(edsels, studabakers, amc matador)but the fact is these people still love that old, outdated, out of production car, the people they meet, the looks they get and the stories they share.
I for one love my contour. It has given me a chance to meet great people, be a part of a great car club and to preserve one awsome out of production car.
