How well does the Bassani cat-back system compare to the others that are available for the Contour SVT. Performance, sound, craftsmanship, yada yada. My previous searches have come up short. Thanks guys

a lot of people believe it is the best Cat-back (myself included) wish I could afford it

that or the brullen system IMO are the best, I like the tips on the bassani a lot better though.. the mustang-esk tips.

Exactly the words I wanted to hear. Mustang-esk oooooooooo thats smooth. I have purchased the Bassani and hope it turns out well. Wish I could hear the system though=(

The bassani sounds absolutely wonderful with the stock y-pipe, but if you use it in conjunction with the shoshop y-pipe it is very loud. I would take that into consideration.

you can hear it... seach through Y2KSVT's posts and he posted a vid of his.... when he gets home I can get it for you if you so choose.

Inside the car, starting it up. 1.9 mb mpg

I have it and I love it , great sound , great craftmenship , awesome fit, and awesome looking tips. Great overall system. definetly worth the money.
