I personally don't care for some mods over others, but it isn't my place to bash people either. I would be willing to wager that most people here work hard for their money, so if they decide to spend it certain ways, why not? When I look at a car I look at how much planning went into the mod. Spoilers whose mounting points are dangling off the sides, lowered cars whose tires rub the fenders everytime they make a turn, mismatched body kits that aren't going to see paint for a few months but HAD to make it on to the car at that minute, so many stickers that you cant see out the windows, bass that goes outside the car before coming in, etc. But even then, I leave them be. I figure they are happy with their car, I am happy with mine and thats all that matters.

A lot of what causes the annoyance for me is not the car, but the attitude of the drivers in them. Loud music that blares outside my window at 3 a.m. is not caused by the stereo, but by the idiot that cranks it up that high. Cars that are stickered up with no go are fine, but its the idiot revving it at stop lights and cutting off cars in rush hour going no faster than 30 or 40 mph to make himself look fast that is to blame. And while we are at it, those of you who hate the people with the loud stereos, don't think that you are the only one taking notice to whats in the car. Theives also love this kind of advertisement, and sooner or later IMO is just asking to have the car broken into and the stuff stolen. Stereo theives hit anyone and everyone, but don't think they'll pass up an opportunity to get the golden cash cow for the person next to him with a factory tape deck.

And no, Farcus. I don't care if people see how "slow" my car is. I didn't buy it to race, and don't egg people on at stop lights. I do not need my car to look cool to others and impress people. And before you go bashing me too, my car is BONE STOCK so anything you'd like to attack me for on my car can be blamed on the manufacturer. In fact, part of the reason I got rid of my Contour that was modded out was to draw attention away from those people who felt it necessary to egg me on at stop lights. I don't need the fastest car, the loudest car, or the most good looking car to feel cool or confident about myself. As long as it appeals to my eye and drives the way I want and need it to, that's all I care about.

Lastly, these cars did not choose to be this way. Any mod you see is the direct result of the owner of the car. When you make an attack on the mod, you aren't attacking the car- you are attacking the person. That's not cool to attack anyone. It's fine to have your own opinion. Decide you don't like it and choose not to go that route with your car. But don't call another person stupid to their face. It doesn't do any good. It just causes anger, and do we really need that here? I thought the internet was a place to relax, not to create more problems.
