Congratulations on your purchase. [To be honest, I would congratulate anyone that replaces the OE head unit.

] I can't comment on the Kenwood unit's performance, but the specs IMHO look good.
As far as the deck (HU) installation is concerned, here are two words that best summarize its difficulty -- "not" and "very."

Look at this
installation guide for more information. (Note: This URL should be added to our FAQ.)
The biggest obstacle that you may have is in removing the factory head unit. Some people didn't have a problem with it, some did. Be sure that you have some tool to remove the old unit [e.g., either the Ford "keys" (which are available in most stores/shops that sell car audio -- including Wal-Mart), a bent coat hanger, or nails].
In addition, it would be a good idea to purchase the wiring harnesses (including the amp bypass harness) if you haven't already done so. Since you have an SVT, chances are very good that your car has a factory amp (as part of the "Premium" sound system). You'll have to decide if you want to use the factory amp as part of your system.
Be sure to search the Car Audio forums for more tips. Good luck in your installation.
