If I had it all to do over again I would say [censored] Vortech. They have proven themselves to be a really poorly operated/managed/run company. I hate to slam them, but oh well. they cost me about 5 grand over the cost of a supercharger kit... Oh well... Here is the story... I never told it until now.

I had 9.5# boost running about 94 Octane. Really solid tune. About 275FWHP and 209FWTQ. Thank you Street Flight! the S/C blew a seal (the main seal) unknown to me. In no time at all my motor consumed all of my oil and because I ran Pure Synth Amsoil, I did not blow smoke. I starved of oil and spun a bearing. I am a true jackass because I don't check my il every damn day, but Vortech won't even fix the seal for less than $500. they are like "Screw You". I did buy the kit used, but the S/C was freshly rebuilt when I got it. the guy I bought it from got it originally and had the jackshaft issue. By the time he got it back... 6 months later, he sold the 'Tour. I got the kit for what i thought was a steal. Anyway... The S/C is bad ass but Street Flight stands behind their kit and guess what??? You get some Torque too! (read:Sarcasm) i am gonna reinstall the S/C with my new 3.0L and call it damage control. I will have a badass ride, but I have many lessons learned.
