Exactly! I work a parts counter at a motorcycle dealership. We carry 5 different brands spanning 30 years. Worse yet, the microfiche is in B&W. How am I supposed to tell the difference between plastic and metal? You're going to know your particular car (usually) better that someone who has to keep up with many different cars. I can't know everything about everything we sell. Funny part is, I usually still know more about a particular bike that my customer does (and he/she owns it).
