hey guys how much power do you think I can out of a 3.0 with about $6 grand, my goal is 250fwhp? Any input like always would great cause you help me out alot in the past.

well the thing is I have 95K on my motor and every body is recommending that I rebuild the motor and if I build it I would have to build it in a way that I could make 300fwhp(might as well) and Ijust dont have that kind of money.

well, warmonger is making 300 fwhp on his 3.0L turbo with only 5.75 psi of boost which is pretty conservative as far as boost goes imho. Hes not running any beefed up internals (yet!  ) so i think you might be okay with a stock 3.0L and turbo. But again, doing all that under $6,000 is hard pressed. You might be able to get 250 fwhp on a n/a 3.0L but that would take some serious modding as well. Were talking custom cams, ported and polished heads, headers, the whole shi-bang! If you want 250 fwhp, just spend $1000 and get a venom nitrous kit.

Give me $7,000, get approved to take over the remainder of my loan(24 payments), and you'll have an 00' SVT with 24,000 miles on it with a turbo that makes well over 250whp. Not to mention the other goodies it has:suspension, asthetics, etc.

$7k will get you a 3l and a turbo and it should net 300 wHP. Just bear in mind that dyno numbers aren't everything...traction is a big part of 1/4 mile numbers. However on the freeway the extra 3l power is where its at.
How fast do I wan't to go??? Faster than any car can go.
