Fluid Does Not contain GL-5. GL-5 is a rating.

A fluid can be the "equivalent" of a "specific" GL rated fluid and not be that actual fluid.

Actual GL-5 fluid does have highly corrosive pressure additives. Check out any oil website for confirmation & warnings not to use them in transmissions (Redline, AMSOil, Mobil 1, etc)

The Torco MTF (Manual Transmission Fluid) you are talking about, like Redline MTL or MT-90, is specifically made for manual transmissions and does not have those corrosive additives.
I'm sure it works just fine, but it is more expensive ($4 per qt) then either of the Redline products.

I'd recommend Redline MTL.
