I ran the Torco Fluid for about 1.25 Years! I didn't have any noticeable signs of wear and my transmission didn't change any in that whole time. If the torco fluid uses a GL-5 then what does that tell me about the GL-5 fluid since in well over a year it didn't do any damage?

Ford rebuilt my tranny, and when I first finished my 3L I put Torco synthetic into it...this was in Dec 2001 that I got it running. I only changed it when I tore down my car to put the turbo in.
The shift rods were already stiff before that because I broke my shift cable under warranty and they replaced it as well.

I don't have a bottle of Torco synthetic anymore, but if someone could verify that it is a GL-5 fluid, then it will definitely cast a different view of the GL-5 thing...I have pictures that are posted in this forum of my transmission, close-ups that show there isn't anything wrong with synchros or other parts and were only taken when I redid my pistons and shift forks/LSD in May.
