I simply said that i think addressing his next campaign instead of addressing things like child abuse is ridiculous. Children all accross the country have been left in cars to overheat to death. Show me where hes addressed this issue? Show me what hes gonna do for those innocent victims? Show me where he is gonna enforce a stricter punishment for people who beat rape and kill their children. Show me in the last week where he has addressed this nation-wide problem? Yes his campaign and deciding if gay marriage should be legal takes a back seat to these poor helpless victims. Ya money makes the world go round but it doesnt make those children come back now does it?

So seems to me you are in favor of harsh penalties. So what about the death penalty for these folks. Seems President Bush was govenor of a state that had no problems with executing those that killed.

Of course, I disagree that crimes like the ones you speak of are a federal issue. Let the governors of those states address those issue, and let the President do his #1 job of being commander-in-chief of the military.

Search my posts here and you will find that I don't think the federal government should have much, if any role in the everyday citizens life, most everything can be handled at the local level.

So I guess I'm with you in a way, let's get this out of the President's or any other leader at the Federal level and let each state decide what it wishes to define as marriage.

I notice no comment on the fund raising issue you mentioned...
