Personnaly I do not see shacking up as immoral (though when children show up it gets iffy)..of course then, getting married makes sense. Rather than "expanding" the definition of marriage, could always "upgrade" the institution of "shacking up". Or create a new term. Certainly CAN redefine marriage..but it has worked well for a while so I'm just not sure it's the best thing to do. Perhaps it is..like I said, it dosen't seem a BIG deal to me relatively speaking. Just like the little Senator analogy on Rush today. Which I was able to hear his show more than once a week...fun stuff.
PS..Bush is going to WALK all over whomever the DEM focus groups get to run against him. I love the "sideline" of Hillary waiting in the wings...jump in if "weak" Bush is running but otherwise subtlely work against the Dem candidate that goes against "strong" Bush. Quality entertainment like that is just rare these days!!

Out of context. The morality and rights of gay marriages or straight marriages don't lie within the ability to have children. It's roots go FAR deeper and are fare more fundamental and basic.
Having said that, one of the traditional (perhaps one of the largest) facets of marriage is children, for what it's worth...

So if the entire family calls themselves 'Senators', does that mean that the Real Senator will not be able to go to Congress and vote on issues and represent his state?

Without a doubt...stupid people procreating are a FAR greater problem than gay marriage. We need more legislation!! And a tax hike to support educating stupid people that it is stupid to make more stupid people!

They can indeed but the PAC groups & lobbyests will not know who to pay off and the whole system will fall into chaos....
