HOLY CRAP!!! That is the single worst thing. Here in MI we had an expressway that went from 4 lanes down to 1. They gave you about 5 miles of warning. If everyone would get over in the first place, it would go a 100 times faster.
I had my moment in glory though. It was down to 2 lanes and I was driving in the center of both so people wouldn't race by. This guy tries to pass me so I speedv up and move over more. He'll have none of that and floors it to squeeze between me and the barrels.
Much to my satisfaction, when he does finally get in front of me, I notice that his side mirror broke off and was hanging by the wires because he nailed the barrel. Ahhh, the satisfaction.
Hey Tubs, I just lost my jengajam.

Not exactly harmless, but I hate it when a big van or SUV you can't really see around does a super-fast lane change and I notice stopped traffic in my lane. [censored] that always freaks me out. I follow quite a ways back, too.

1. When people on the highway can't keep a constant speed. I have my cruise set and then have to brake because someone is going slow in my lane. So I pass them and then five minutes later there they go all motivated to drive fast. And then five minutes later I'm hitting my brakes again because they have slowed down and I have to pass them again. How hard is it to drive one speed? Even without cruise it's not that hard of a concept to grasp. 2. I absolutely hate it when people slow to almost a complete stop before getting into a turn lane that gives you 100 more feet to stop. Merge...then brake.

Sports Cars that drive slow. if you want to drive the speed limit or slower, buy a Geo or a Buick, if you drive a Firebird, Mustang, Vet, drive it like it was ment to be driven. I blew Past a guy in his Lotus a while back I was just shamed that he was driving it. You don't have to drive 100 all the time, but at least 5+ over the limit.

Man, you nailed my last two beaterz.
However, I did like the stoplight GP with the Buick LeSabre. Especially when the other lane ended. Many a time people would choose the ending lane over being behind me at the light. If I was the first car, I'd make sure I got off just a bit faster than they did. You know, just keep their hood in my peripheral vision.
I wouldn't slow, never had to as that particular personality type doesn't know how to slow either, well until they have to choose between hitting the guard rail or tucking in behind me.
Ditto for the Geo I'm driving now. I think the damn car is invisible because people change lanes right in front of me when I'm closing at 20+ MPH.
The Geo isn't as good for the stoplight GP, but the 1.6L Toyota engine in my Prizm will cruise at 80+ MPH without much drama.
It also has good brakes for those last moment panic manouevers when some dolt in an SUV cannot judge closing speeds.
When I'm ready to get rid of it, I'm sure I can find some clown to run into it

Experience is the worst teacher; it gives the test before presenting the lesson.
