Jim, it's not just hoosiers, it seems that its common practice in Philly as well. Accelerate to the end of the ramp and slam on your brakes, look, then go.

There was a middle aged lady going 20-25mph in a 50mph zone the other day and I had to follow her for 10 minutes, so I was really pissed off...Well 3 different people pulled out in front of her because they didnt want to have to follow her, and she rear-rended one of them.
I was so pissed off that I got out of the car, walked up to her and said "Did it ever [censored] occour to you that if you didn't go 25 miles an hour under the speed limit, people wouldn't have to pull out in front of you! People like you are a virus to the traffic system, you stupid [censored]." And then walked away.
The look on her face was priceless. I wish I could do that to everybody that drives like that.

Living in NJ I get to see some sh!t on the road. One of the worst things that annoys the hell out of me in when people miss an exit, proceed to stop in the shoulder, then back up to the exit on a MAJOR 4 LANE HIGHWAY!! You would think that a person with common sense would go to the next exit, and make a u-turn, but it's a common sight to see reverse lights on exit ramps here in the Garden state. Although I have never been harmed by this, it definitely has the potential to harm someone else.

going straight in a lane that you can either turn right on red or go straight on green while there are two other lanes that go straight only and are empty. so everyone who wants to turn right has to wait for these DuMass people to get out of the way. it's just aggrevating b/c it happens almost daily on my way home. i have lost all hope in people in the metor DC area

C0ffin d0dgers that can't see well, and either swerve into your lane b/c they don't know where the lines are, leave their blinker on all the time, or go 50 in a 65. Man, I drive 100mi at least once a week, and EVERY TIME I encounter some old group of biddys going to the casino to waste more of my taxes and social security money.
We need to start making mandatory driving tests for seniors after age 65. I always see severe, or deadly accidents where the old guy missed a turn, or wasn't paying attention. I don't want to die because the old people can't drive and they're too stinking proud to take a simple test!

Here in New England I see many things and I have picked up some bad habits as well. These are the things that bother me the most. 1. People that only drive in the left lane on a multi-lane road.  2. People who are distracted and don't drive a constant speed because of the distraction. 3. People who turn left on a busy road and don't signal until the light turns green. 4. People who try to make a single lane into two lanes to cut other cars off.

Holy [censored]! This thread has made me think about how many people I would love to slam my car into.
I have a really bad case of road rage. Don't pull in front of me and go slower than me. That will REALLY piss me off and you will get the brights and an up close experience with a pissed redneck in yankee land.
By damn DON'T THROW TRASH out of your car! If you hit mine you will catch whatever I can find in my car that isn't worth a damn. I have about 5 dollars in pennies waiting for the next person.
If you're going to drive slow then fine, but at least do the speed limit. I used to be stationed in TX and damn they were the nicest people. If you were coming up on someone driving slow, they would get on the shoulder and let you pass. My god I loved those people. People up here are DICKS! I get my point across by swerving behind them in my lane. They see me doing that and they're all like "Oh My god! He's crazy. Better let him go." Then I haul ass past them.
One other thing. People who can't change their air filter or oil! When you get behind a car that smokes really bad... I just have to drive way behind them. Bastards....
When I drive the gov. vehicle (a big F-350) and I have the NORMAL low beams on. People will blind me with their brights because they think I have my brights on. IT'S A TRUCK! THEIR LOW BEAMS ARE HIGHER! LEARN THAT!
What else.... hrm... yea. Oh and one other thing before I end. One reason for wanting a loud car is so that they can hear me behind them. If I'm revving the car, get out of the DAMN WAY!
