Demon is your typical internet chatroom toughguy. He rarely has anything nice to say, and is quick to jump down your throat. His "real" life is obviously so empty, he needs to intrude on yours. He knows his stuff though, so you have to put up with him.

Demon is typically right on the money, he just skipped his PC/sensitivity indoctrination classes...  Course...some people need to get thicker skins cause occasional pockets of non poltical correctness do exist..like the REST of the PLANET for example.

That is a BS statement from a typical hater trying to sound moderate!
You could say he is intolerant of BS, but has nothing to do with his home life. He is a family man and he works for a living...he also works for his info and isn't afraid of searching for his information unlike most on here!!!!!
If you said that about me and my life, I'd put your name down on my blacklist and make it a reasonably high priority to make you apologize or beat the sh|t out of upon our first chance meeting! 
BUT, you may be sarcastically joking so I'll leave it at that...
Some people just take it as a personal affront that others need to feel bigger about themselves by fabrication and bragging. Its such a shame.

Back to my point. The statement I assure you was not BS. Just bothers me to see someone raise a BS flag if the facts are there. I saw it as first hand as you can get without driving the car. As well I was very impressed. I mean beating him off the line every time only to get toasted at half track.

Ok, I don't care whether or not the claims are valid. Anything is possible to me. What I do care about is the comments on a forum about someones life outside an internet forum when you don't know what is really going on. Stick to what you know....the fact that DemonSVT raises the flag when he smells BS. He isn't necessarily right, just voicing for a lot of us the suspicion that you claim may not be accurate.

Well, Demon didn't seem to raise the BS flag on the slip. And he never said anything about whether Rob was a stand up guy or not. He may believe the story and slip, but according to his post, he just doesn't believe Canada's timeslips.

Raising nationality into this is just as bad as raising one's homelife IMHO. As I said before, I just think the track was "fast" that day. I'm sure if Rob reads this post when he's back from overseas he'll find a way to scan and post the slip.

More internet muscles. You know, I would expect this on a DSM forum or even maybe from some of those mustang/F-Body types, but I didn't think it was too prevalent here. You really should watch where you make threats, especially now a days.  And how exactly does this make me a "hater" ? He makes a rediculous stereotypical statement about an entire country and their currency and you call ME a "hater"?

In my book its a totally BAD thing to talk about someones personaly life or family. No one says you have to like/dislike America, or Canada, or whatever country you live in. Countries are outside the individual because they act on a global scale and can affect people in different places. This gives me the right within reason to say I trust or distrust a country, i.e. governing body or whatever. IMHO you cross the line by talking about someones personal life unless you happen to know them, i.e. you live around the corner and have interaction with the person and therefore are affected by something in their personal life and have earned the right to be able to say something about it. It's too close to the 'yo mamma' jokes of the past that are funny to some and deathly offensive to others. And by the way, you quoted my words where I said "if" you had said it about me and "if" you didn't apologize. There is a whole lot of room for compromise in that statement. Slightly big talk and I hope I didn't offend some others here with it...internet muscles or not, but at least you will walk away from this conversation with some new knowledge about how others view your potentially offensive statements too.
