N/A setup consisted of: sho shop off road y-pipe Bassani catback SCA cold air pipe with 9" K&N Diablosport chip with 7,500 rev suspension(Eibach springs fr/rr strut bars) 17" Superleggeras The car weighed in at 2,875 without me of course. I was only able to pull mid 2.3's 60', but made it through the 1/4 at a best of 14.7, and a dozen 14.8's on 2 seperate visits to the track... The car now has a turbo, and more power than the platform can support for "hard" launches....but it sure is fun!

Thats what it was though. Saw it first hand. Car only had 18000kms or 11000 miles on her. Beat me bad.
Now it's definitely a stereotype.
I trust ZERO timeslips from Canada from now on...
First was the near stock SVT running 98+ Then a moderately modified one running 104+ Now it's a bone stocker running 93+
Sheesh I know your dollar is worthless against ours, but that's one hell of a conversion rate on trap speeds???
I wonder if my 96mph American is 112mph Canadian then??? Because all the speeds I've seen have been bogus! Either that or the Canadian cars have an extra 100 HP under the hood pulled out of somehwere...

Do you ever have a positive thing to say? Virtually everything that you post is search Nazi related or otherwise. I was there and was actually racing the SVT when it pulled that trap time. As well if you look further down in the post you will see I revised and gave the run. The trap was 92 and not 93. If you can't accept the facts then move on. As far as the 104mph one. I agree it is wrong but that poster was inquiring why this was the case. Not claiming it was fact.

I know who this is that ran the 93 mph and he's a stand-up guy, trust me. I will say though that I think that track was fast that day (ie. timing off a bit??) as last year in the fall I ran at Cayuga and had a best of 15.748 at 88.16 mph. Me and him had a friendly, safe run on the street the same weekend he went to St.Thomas for the 93 mph and we were even. I wonder if these tracks are ever calibrated to uniform standards so they're comparable ... I doubt it - likely like dynomometers.
98.5 SVT now gone ... new wheels = 2005 330i

LBVSVT. It was 92 but none the less you are right. Rob is a very stand up guy. As well another CEG'er was there to see the spectacle. Let me tell you there is nothing more frustrating then lining up pulling great launches and Rob not getting as good a launch but when his car starts breathing he pulls like a MOFO. Man does that SVT have a top end. I bet the 94 octane fuel never hurt much either not that it would help much since I ran it for that day too.
