I tried a buuuuuuuuunch of things to get my headlights cleaned up and what finally worked was the following:
180 grit sandpaper
800 grit sandpaper
1000 grit sandpaper
2000 grit sandpaper
metal polish
paint cleaner
zaino
They went from bad to better. I don't have any pics yet since applying the polish, cleaner and Zaino, but I'll try to get some soon.
