GEL-GLOSS "One Step Cleaner and Polish" is what I use to clean, polish and preserve the acrylic headlight covers and rearlignt covers on all my autos. IT WORKS GREAT!!! Gel-Gloss is sold in hardware stores and home centers -- try Home Depot (plumbing aisle) or an ACE or True Value near you. Go to www.gel-gloss.com or G gloss for a FREE sample.
I DO NOT WORK FOR GEL-GLOSS!!! Only use it.

does it get rid of the hasizness? Mine are very cloudy...you can actually see a layer of something that is cloudy. Just wanna make sure before I buy yet another product to try to clean them...i've already bought 4 products that would "supposedly" clean then and refinish them...but still no luck.

I have always found the Contour headlights to be overly large and ugly looking, an eye sore for sure. Has anybody removed the lens and spray painted the outlines around the headlights black? I'd like to make them appear less bulky and blend in better with the rest of the car. Anybody have any advice or tips on doing this?
Thanks!

It worked on mine and mine were VERY hazy. Very cloudy may require a little more "elbow grease".

Sample may not be FREE but page two top left hand corner is "SAMPLES AND INFO". However that page is currently being revised and is listed as "Page Under Construction"

I emailed them yesterday for a sample. No response yet.
I used a $1.79 can of turtle Wax Polishing compound... with a wet rag.. worked for me... and probably just as good as the $25.00 cans of stuff that they sell.. what you need is a good grit to get the deteriated layer of plastic off the lense.......
