Sounds like the battery is bad or you have a bad connection. If you can get it jumped again, drive to the nearest auto parts store and ask them to put it on their tester. This can help indicate if it's the battery or whatever. If you have a multimeter, you should measure 12V across the battery and 13.5V - 14V when the car is running.
