what do u mean by get another stock manifold ?? A stock monifold for the Contour ??? Like from a junk yard ???? {by the way... anyone has pictures of the manifold ?? }

you mean get a old stock manifold from a junk yard and play with it ??? Take pictures and send them to work it out ??

Well you would adjust boost pressure through the wastegate (if you can) if no you would have to buy a boost controller. But if it is a kit it should be set at a safe boost level for a N/A car.

As for the stock manifold it would be cheaper alternative to having a custom manifold made and would be sufficient for the amount of boost you'd be running. Plus it is nice and short, where the cat sits is where you could mount the turbo, and just relocate the cat (as you can see I have been planning). Not only that it is cast, which would hold up to the higher manifold temps of the turbo much better.
