My 98 Myst ??dark satin green? did this when it was only two years old. Since I already had 39k mi Ford would not repaint or even make a good will offer. It??s from two thick a paint job and two much heat (it could also be from chemicals). No quick fix (so don??t waste your money) it needs to be stripped and repainted. By the way, it??s called ??checking?.
