I was debating on whether or not to have the hood painted to match the car.
I've received both positive and negative comments on it.
Let me know what your opinion is.

Silver Frost SVT - Carbon Fiber Hood
Looks good - leave the hood as is
Not sure / undecided / no opinion
Looks bad - paint it to match the rest of the car

As cool as CF is...it just reminds me of when people go to the junkyard and get a new bumper or fender or door for their beater...and leave it a different color from the rest of the car...

i think it would look good either way, but you will lose some of the weight you saved by painting it. also make sure the shop you use knows how to paint cf.

If there was another piece of the body that was carbon-fiber to accent the hood I think it would look sick! But right now I like how the CF looks w/ the silver.

i think you should do the painting the roof and trunklid satin black. that way all the surfaces that are parallel to the ground will be the same color shade . i think mikey boy made a photochop of what that would look like. i thought it looked pretty decent.

If you have CF anything and you paint it no one (except you of course) knows its there, so why paint it.
And if you have seen a solid CF race car nothing is cooler looking,PERIOD! BTW the race cars are not shiney CF they are flat in color........

i think it looks tight man, what do u think about a silver frost hood on a black SVT? i was kinda thinking about it but i really doubt it
